------ NO KINGS 3: HELP NEEDED
First thing first: if you haven't already made plans for No Kings 3 on March 28, now's the time. Specifically, we need help with:
- More trained peace ambassadors. There will be more Level 2 training before the event; need 20 people to be interested to set up a group training.
- Supporting postcard writing; Sue D. will lead it but she needs 2-3 volunteers.
- Signs of Fascism protest at NKD3; sign up here: https://www.mobilize.us/itsblueturn/event/919293/.
- Clipboard-wielding roamers to sign people up for our Indivisibles.
- Supporting sign making: there will be a table for people to make protest signs and you can help oversee it.
- Supporting pop-up museum of resistance: we have 8 giant posters describing past non-violent movements from No Kings 2.0 (thank you, Kelly!) and you can help oversee the exhibit.
There are other needs as well, like a videographer, people to spread flyers, etc. Please respond if you can do any of these things or if there's something you would like to do.

Monthly Meeting
Our monthly meeting is coming up. This month it's on Sunday, March 15. We have a featured speaker, Shay Franco-Clausen, born in poverty and formerly incarcerated, first openly Lesbian Black, Afro-Latina Women to be elected in Santa Clara County, featured at Sundance Film Festival HBO Documentaries, features in countless articles and an award winning advocate. Current campaigns on the porch: States Win postcards for MI State Senate candidate Darrin Camilleri; to register voters in GA for Jon Ossoff; urge registered Black voters in Virginia to vote Yes vote on the redistricting referendum to maintain fair congressional maps.

Thank you for helping making anti-ICE whistle know-your-rights kits. They are now all spoken for, but we'll be making more. Do you have any connections to Gilroy / Central Valley / vulnerable community organizations that we can distribute them through? Let me know!

- By March 13: From Third Act SF: California parks near Sunol, Mission Peak, Mt. Diablo, Butano and others are at risk from a federal proposal to allow oil drilling on adjacent public lands. Visit a park before March 13, post a photo to raise awareness, and submit a public comment to help stop the drilling. See more info.
